Tzofim Garin Tzabar
Tzofim Garin Tzabar is the only program that provides a 360° support system and framework for those who wish to make Aliyah and join the IDF as lone soldiers.
We support our soldiers even before they arrive in Israel and during their military service.
Our program provides:
a group setting that helps lone soldiers to build a community of lone soldiers within their host community.
We also provide accommodation on a full board basis and assistance in integration to Israel and preparation to meaningful service in the IDF.
Garin Tzabar allows the participants to Build a home away from home and creates their own family - Family for Life
How can you support?
Support a lone soldier full scholarship throughout the entire program -10,000 AUD
Help cover the cost of a young Ole including 4 months of absorption period (Mechina) before drafting and throughout his military service
Renovate a new building at Garin Tzabar village in Ra'anana
We are currently holding 180 Beds for lone soldiers in our Tzabar Village in Ra'anana
In order to support more lone soldiers, we plan to expand our capacity to 220 beds, this requires us for some renovations:
- Air conditioner for each room (20 units needed) -1,200 AUD (per unit)
- Fully equipped apartment (Wightgoods, Wifi infrastructure & Kitchenware - 1,750 AUD (per apartment)
Renovate a lone soldier home in one of our Kibbutzim - 25,000 AUD (per Kibbutz)
This upcoming August we will be welcoming approx. 300 new lone Soldiers in 12 different Kibbutzim The cost of making their home wame and cozy with all the equipment needed.
Sponsor a 4 day pre-army trip in Israel for a whole Garin - 8,000 AUD
Just before our Tzabarnimkim army, we organise an amazing 4 day s trip around Israel to mark the end of their absorption period and their enlistment to the army
