Overview:
Reichman University (IDC Herzliya) is a dream realized; an academic institution that changed the face of higher education in Israel and became a successful, pioneering model and a source of inspiration. Founded by renowned Israeli Professor Uriel Reichman in 1994, Riechman University is the first private university in Israel. It is a non-profit organization modeled after Ivy League universities in the U.S. Since its establishment, Riechman University's success has drawn both international recognition and some of the finest lecturers and researchers from around the world.
Riechman University has the largest international school in Israel; the Raphael Recanati International School (RRIS), with over 2,500 international students from over 90 different countries – 1/3 of all students are internationals.
The RRIS has over 400 lone soldiers studying on campus every year, 300 of them are Garin Tzabar Alumni.
Riechman University's founders sought to create an Israeli university in which personal achievements go hand in hand with social responsibility. Its outlook is rooted in the concepts of “freedom and responsibility” and emphasizes initiative and leadership alongside community service.
In addition to the aforementioned goals, we are committed to dealing with issues of: Israel’s social & moral agenda; constitutional & governmental reconstruction; economic growth based on a free enterprise system; reevaluation of Israel’s diplomatic strategies and policies and more.
Undergraduate Degrees:
The undergraduate programs in Israel are based on six semesters. Students from abroad can earn an internationally recognized BA degree in only three years. The Raphael Recanati International School was established in order to allow students from abroad and Israel to benefit from the excellent 10 academic programs at Riechman University by offering several of these BA 3-year programs completely in English.
Business Administration, Business & Economics (double major), Communications, Computer Science BSc, Entrepreneurship & Business (double major), Economics & Entrepreneurship with Data Science, Entrepreneurship & Computer Science BSc (double major), Government, Sustainability & Government (double major), and Psychology.
During the Undergraduate Degrees there are more than 120 exchange programs with leading universities from around the world.

The Raphael Recanati International School also offers a Study Abroad program for a semester or a year, the RRIS’s coursework can count toward your major, minor or elective requirements at your home institution. In addition, and similarly to most leading universities around the world, the RRIS has a Social and Cultural office which offers a variety of social activities to enrich student life that ranges from clubs to trips, holiday celebrations, etc., always striving to focus on the wellbeing of the individual student.
