The position requires to be based in New York and hold a valid work permit – Garin Tzabar won’t be able to produce this permit
Responsibilities:
- In charge of all Garin Tzabar screening and preparation process of Midwest and Canadian candidates
- Customer service for those interested in Garin Tzabar in your area
- Personal contact with Garin members and parents
- Bureaucratic process for your GarinCoordinator of one group of Garin Tzabar in the preparation process
- Educational responsibility for the seminars
- Getting to know each Garin Member story by forming a personal connection and Personal contact with Garin members and parents
- Contact with partners and other organizations.
- Mapping origin community and Marketing the program to the relevant audience
- Management Information System Tzabarnet
Skills requirements
- Hebrew – native & High level of English – MUST
- Substantial time living in New York Area – MUST
- Experience in Education – advantage
- Familiar with religion and Halacha – MUST
- Personal knowledge of Aliyah and integration to Israeli Society – advantage
- BA. in Education / Humanities – advantage
- Garin Tzabar / youth movement Alumni – advantage
- Able to speak in front of an audience
- Able to work in a team
- Willing to work after official working hours including weekends.
