Each Garin Tzabar member who finishes their army service joins our extensive alumni network, with over 2,500 members.

The main goals of the alumni network are: social and professional networking, personal development, and your success!

We realize that getting used to the civilian life in Israel after the military service could be difficult, and that is why we are doing our best to ease the transition and prepare our soldiers to the civilian life.

Every year we hold a seminar for our recently discharged soldiers called “Kenes Mishtachrerim”. The event is usually split into two parts. At first, there is a large fare which is attended by representatives of various universities, colleges, scholarships, government offices such as the Ministry of Absorption and the National Insurance Institute and organizations that help immigrants and discharged soldiers. The second part of the day consists of important and interesting lectures on different relevant topics such as financially preparing for civilian life, how to find a job, how to write a resume, overview of all discharged soldiers’ benefits etc. Click here for more information about life in Israel after the army service.

Every few months, we hold alumni events in Israel, New York and Los Angeles. The events are intended both fun and professional networking. If you are a Garin Tzabar alumni, please join our Facebook Group, to stay in touch and get exciting news, job offers and so much more!
