We are an Aliyah program for young adults who have chosen to make Aliyah and build their future in Israel. Following this decision, they choose to serve in the IDF as part of their journey in accordance with Israeli law, and we offer comprehensive support every step of the way.

WHAT WE DO

Tzofim Garin Tzabar, established in 1991, offers the most comprehensive solution for young Jewish adults seeking to make Aliyah, build a life in Israel, and serve a meaningful service in the IDF as Lone Soldiers.

It’s the only program that provides 360° support, from pre-Aliyah preparations to moving to Israel, settling in, serving in the IDF, and beyond. This includes:

Full board Accommodation
Assistance with Israel civil services and IDF bureaucracy
Integration to Israeli society
Building a family within a Host Community in Israel
Crafting a new Garin family – A Family For Life

Assistance in Aliyah
Throughout the Aliyah process, Garin Tzabar provides assistance with Israel civil services and bureaucracy, and works in cooperation with many institutions, including governmental institutes such as Ministry of Absorption, Bituach Leumi and the IDF - making the processes of making Aliyah and joining the IDF easier than ever before.
IDF Military Service
Prior to drafting, Garin Tzabar guarantees a streamlined and expedited enlistment process for Tzabarnikim by offering assistance and support in the enlistment bureaucracy. Upon recruitment in the IDF, the Garin Tzabar program continues to be a warm and supportive home for the Garin members, who continue to enjoy the benefits of the program - including full board and basic accommodations - food, laundry, utilities etc, and more.
Financial Support
Garin Tzabar provides financial support prior to and during the IDF Service, including accommodation on a full board basis including room and board, and basic necessities: food, laundry, utilities, and more. We also ensure our Garin Tzabar soldiers are familiar with their lone soldier benefits.
Guidance and Support
In Garin Tzabar you are never alone! From your staff and coordinators to a host family on the Kibbutz, you are always surrounded by a team of incredible individuals who are always available to help. The Garin Tzabar journey establishes lifelong friendships and support systems which provides a family away from home - family for life.
